Bookworm Wednesday: What is space archeologist Sarah Parcak reading?

Curious to know what a Ethiopian pop-jazz-soul musician is reading? How about an African filmmaker or a space archeologist? Each week on the TED Fellows Blog we ask one Fellow to tell us what they’re reading and what’s on their to-read list.

What are you currently reading?
I read about four to five books at once. Right now it’s a combo of Nate Silver’s Signal+Noise, lots of Asimov+Clarke short stories, rereading Catching Fire for Hunger Games 2 movie, and a book on backyard birding.

What was the last book you read that you couldn’t put down?
Dan Brown, Inferno. It was an utterly and completely brainless piece of beach trash. See reference above to 11+ month old. I needed to escape for a few hours to Florence+mulletland.

What’s on your to-read list?
Baby Bear, Baby Bear What Do You See? And Goodnight Moon (Every. Freaking. Night.)
